Why KC Collected?

There is a feeling I get each time I'm headed north on 1-35 and I catch my first glimpse of the downtown skyline. It's nostalgia. It's wonder. It's excitement. It's possibility. I feel genuinely giddy when I think about Kansas City and all it has to offer. When I left KC in 2002 to pursue music in Nashville, I had no idea I'd be moving back ten years later by choice. And I had no idea that the passion I felt about this city would turn into a career. 

For years I've been helping people find their dream homes for the fun of it. My love of design and real estate and all things Kansas City is nothing new, but, as a musician, I had convinced myself that I shouldn't try to be anything other than that. Then 2020 happened. Not only did I become desperate to help save the small businesses I loved that were being affected by the pandemic, but I was stuck at home and longed to be creative. That's when it hit me. KC Collected + Real Estate. Helping people find a home is one thing. But helping people love where they live is quite another. I don't only want to help people buy a house. I want to connect them to the perfect neighborhood, community, and local experiences that make them feel like they belong. I’m passionate about people, Kansas City, good food, great vibes and having fun. So here’s to more of that. Cheers!
